Currently a more common unit in the site accommodation hire market is the traditional split canteen / store. Sometimes referred to as split mess / storage units have the benefit of a completely separate storage area which is accessed via the standard double container doors, in this are we can provide basic 3 tier shelving if required for a small additional weekly charge, but we fit a bulkhead light and double socket for your convenience.

The canteen or mess room however you wish to describe it has a 1000mm base unit fitted, stainless steel sink, over sink water heater and full width counter top which offers room for food preparation in addition to space for a microwave, kettle and toaster. Containerking fits as standard two double sockets including one of which is a USB charging socket as standard, heating is provided either by a 2kw down flow heater or a powerful 3kw curtain heater which are more than convenient than low level panel heaters as they are less prone to damage. One double glazed aluminium window is fitted to this cabin protected by insulated steel Kirncroft shutters offering ventilation and natural light.
