Brief Item Description : Bespoke 20ft x 8ft Stunning Container Conversion Canteen Unit 

Bespoke 20ft x 8ft ISO  Container Conversion Canteen / Office Unit fully prepared and resprayed in 2K paint In Slate Grey colour. The ceiling has been treated with 20mm deep polyurethane anti condensation spray foam prior to the unit being framed out and we’ve also fully insulated ceiling and walls with 100mm loft roll 44.

We’ve fitted a 100mm x 50mm box section frame to the side elevation to house the anthracite double glazed and grey tinted toughened glass UPVC window, this is the same as the large wall to wall, floor to ceiling main picture window to the end elevation of the unit. The floor has been fitted with a insulated backed oak vinyl click flooring, walls in traditional crème vinyl faced plasterboard and ceiling in white linen vinyl faced plasterboard.

All electrics have been fitted with concealed wiring, electrics comprise a 32a appliance inlet in a concealed recessed protective metal housing, internally a 4 way Fusebox consumer unit, 6no spot lights, 2kw panel heater, over-sink hot water heater and 6no double sockets. This conversion has the benefit of a 1000mm base unit, stainless steel sink and tap and 40mm oak effect worktop.

This unit can also be fitted with a staircase bracket if required, for siting on top of a standard 20ft ISO Container for £95+vat, Brand New 13 tread staircase and landing’s are also available for £2,350.00+vat.

You should always make the effort and go and take a proper look at any shipping container conversion you may be interested in before you make a commitment to buy or purchase from any person or portable building business.

Shipping Containers and Container Conversions which may have been carried out by a less reputable supplier which may look fine in images may have hidden problems that are not obvious on pictures or indeed consciously disclosed to a prospective purchaser ! like damage to old container floors / floor joists or dented roofs for instance which are renowned for being neglected or getting damaged, which will affect the long term integrity of a building that may look fine on images.

Some portable building, a/v site cabin and container businesses would be happy to palm off an inferior shipping container conversion to unsuspecting buyers under the umbrella of “Sold As Seen” we don’t like this approach. Please note: when we are asked to supply a bespoke shipping container conversion we generally only use either “brand new” (or) immaculate condition “i.e. shipping containers without damage or dents to the roof or main body”, so please make arrangements to visit us to look into your plan, and discuss the practicality of your ideas and what our conversion schedule looks like and to give you an idea of the time and costs involved before we proceed with a full quotation.

• TO BUY A BESPOKE SHIPPING CONTAINER / RENTAL or HIRE :

A/ If you are buying a new or pre used portable office building, anti-vandal cabin, shipping container or container conversion then unless we have extensive trading history and you are an account holder we will take full payment prior to delivery of the unit/s you wish to purchase.

B/ If you intend to order a bespoke shipping container conversion or portable jackleg office accommodation building then we will advise a build date and take a deposit of no less than 25% of the total purchase value and possibly up to 40% depending on how bespoke the unit ordered is. Full balancing payment will be due prior to delivery.

C/ If you wish to hire equipment, as a first time customer we will take the HIAB Delivery Charge and the first 4 weeks rental in advance, any future rental payments are preferred on standing order to secure the guaranteed hire rate. HIAB Collection Charges will be charged at the end of the hire at the cost charged to us from the haulage contractor.

D/ If you wish to hire equipment and are an existing customer with good trading history you can simply place an order by email and normal 30 day account terms will apply.

As a business we “contract in” on your behalf HIAB Haulage from our extensive network of haulage contractors.
